Acupressure
What is it?
Acupressure is a Traditional Medicine Method (TCM) which uses the same ideas as acupuncture. It involves the application of pressure to the 12 meridians within the body which affect the flow of energy. Acupressure is extremely similar to acupuncture in the fact that it applies pressure to the same areas but not with needles, with hands. This treatment can help various things such as stress, aches, pains menopause to mention a few.
How does it work?
Acupressure practitioners apply pressure with their hands to specific parts of your body known as meridians, so that they can remove blockages in your energy flow. Normally you will be fully clothed depending on the practitioner. You will also receive a full assessment, everything from pulse dialysis to lifestyle questions.
How much does it cost?
Acupressure can cost anything from $70-$150 per session but this can vary greatly depending on location and practitioner.
Are there any side effects?
